I work across the street from a convention center in a major city & dread being on the street when the conventioners come to town (some groups are worse than others). I avoid crowds when vacationing & prefer to get away from it all to commune with nature. However, I thing that this is a terrific idea! To those of you who love crowds & conventions, I couldn't think of a better reason to attend one. I encourage everyone whose interested to go for it! I might even consider putting myself outside of my comfort zone by attending. I've read some great ideas on this thread.
