Lily you are very welcome to come down and get all the cuttings you want. Just better hurry before I get a freeze. I survived the 34 degree temps because I was sheltered enough that I didn't get any frost on anything. I don't know how far away from me you are. I'm down on the coast

Athens, PA(Zone 5b)

Lucky, Lucky Jeri,....... feelings of envy, well at least that emotion is GREEN!....

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Donna,
I appreciate your offer. I'd love to come and visit if nothing else. Maybe someday in the future. I visited with Jeri last Sept. and the drive was 6-7 hours. But the trip was throuroughly enjoyed. Have fun visit with Jeri. She's a joy, and she's my sister.
Lucille, let's me welcome you to our big group of gardeners in the South. We're a big family at Dave's.

Thank you Kim. I feel very welcome here. It is fun, fun, fun. I haven't enjoyed myself like this in years!!!!! This must be that "Old Fashion Southern Hospitality" I am always hearing about;)

Central, LA(Zone 8b)

Lucille my DH & I traveled 38 states a couple years ago and that Southern Hospitality followed us through all 38 states!!

Everywhere we went we felt welcomed and at home!!!

Jeri

Athens, PA(Zone 5b)

Jeri, 38 States! WOW! I am exhausted just thinking about such a journey.Sounds as though you had a grand time. I am glad to hear the other States were not rude to you and your DH. I see it is ,after all, the hospitable people we meet as we travel along.

Lucille

Central, LA(Zone 8b)

There were 6 motor homes of our friends and family and we had a blast!!! Met the most gracious people and saw some of the most gorgeous sites!!! The trips of a life time!!!

My Plans are to ship on the 27th or 28th so they can get to Kristi by Saturday and she can get them in water and reship on Monday. Please get your postage out to her Everyone except for svplantingfool and posyblossom. I will let you two know when I ship if I had enough room for cuttings for you

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

My check went out today. I thank you Donna so much and Kristi too for helping with the distribution. The anticipation of watching this thread was so much fun!

Athens, PA(Zone 5b)

Thank you Donna. Even if there isn't some for me, I enjoyed the contest. I have been learning about Brugs just in case I got one. I was going to buy a huge plant from Tioga Gardens a few years ago,but it was too expensive. I didn't realize it was a Brug till I saw pics on the web just now. I just remembered it smelled good and the blooms were peach colored and big. It was at least $40+. So for $7 postage to have a plant to grow to that, well this is a very generous prize.

Lucille

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Lucille I am pretty positive you will get cutting to but I hate to have you send money just in case because I would like to send out at least 6 varieties to each person

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Lucille, do not buy brugs unless there's a particular cultivar you want that you can't find here on Dave's! If you and Cathy miss out, I do have some of my unknowns in a bucket of water. I can send those out to you. You both will be brug owners one way or the other.

South Venice, FL(Zone 9b)

You Brug growers are just fantastic!
Donna, the contest was so fun, that in itself was a treat. Thanks to you, and to Kristi for her assistance, and to you, Cordeledawg for your generous offer also!
I'm so glad I found DG, can't believe it took me so long, must have been playing in the dirt!
Cathy

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

Hi gang!

I've got my calendar marked to ship out on that Monday (assuming we have no postal problems).

BlueGlancer - received your check today and you are most gracious.

I'll be happy to share cuttings next year, as well, for those of you still in need. I have 3 no-names growing well right now and I have a shredded white cutting that just took root (from another great DG'er). Once that gets established, I'll be more than happy to share the wealth for anyone interested.

I appreciate Donna's gift to all of us and have really enjoyed being the part of the contest.

Ya'll have a very Happy Thanksgiving! Stuff your tummies and take a good nap.

Kristi

Athens, PA(Zone 5b)

Thanks Donna and Cord and Kristi. I don't care what kind of Brug I have. Let me know when and where to send postage or if it doesn't work out this year, next year will be fine Kristi! I think I am going to end up with a Brug of my very own some day from one of you and I look forward to having it to grow and to cherish. It makes it all the more special because it will come from one of you.

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone. My Butterball Turkey is out on the deck thawing:)))

South/Central, FL(Zone 9a)

( It makes it all the more special because it will come from one of you.)

I feel the same way, Lucille. I couldn't have said that better. : )
