Hello:Emma
Nice!photos of your gypsy bride m.glories.

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

Wow, Emma - still getting blooms! I'm pretty much done here . . . except for this I. coccinea that made an appearance last week! At Ron's suggestion, I dug the little guy out, and put him in a 3 gallon pot . . . will try and keep him overwintered in the house . . .

Thank you Karla and Nichole. . .
What a beauty this one is too.

Nicole - you might have noticed I haven't replied to your DMails yet.
PLEASE don't give up on me. I've been really krazy busy lately and am trying to get things done so I can go to Houston Friday for my Granddaughter, Jamie Lynn's, 2nd Birthday party. I have a LOT of seeds I'd like to share with you and will get with you very soon. K!

luvsgrtdanes - were the seeds for this http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=4194517 tan color seeds? Just curious . . .

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I love that blue one luvsgrtdanes! The other pics are great, also. Thanks for showing us. I want to go back and see everyone's morning glories for the whole summer and fall.

Nichole, the seeds were dark for the bluish one.

Here are several NEW vines (for me) that it looks like I need correct IDs on them. I would appreciate any MG cultivars IDs for the following. Thank you!

This one was labeled Sydney U.K. but it looks more like a feathered cultivar. Very pretty! Here is the feathered bloom.

Here is the round full bloom from the feathered cultivar. Any ideas what this is?

This one was labeled Mt. Fuji Pink.

President Bush? This bloom seems to be staying consistent. How many blooms will it take to start seeing variations in the blooms?

Love the compact plant that this Sunsmiles Lilac seems to be!

And here's another mystery vine ... Blue Blizzard possibly?

I just love Jishi. This is showing an old bloom and a brand new bloom! So pretty!

And I have NO idea what this one is? It is labeled Blue Blizzard but is not the same plant as above.

Jishi is to die for!

Baton Rouge area, LA(Zone 8b)

Example of a F3 kikyo Color comes from Ukigumo and shape from the kikyo. It went back to kikyo but retained colors from ukigumo complete with white throat and some have variegated green leaves. This one is a double but as everyone knows all the flowers are not double on the double kikyo.

Light pink large flower. This is a F2 grow out from a cross between a chocolate and a magenta flower.

Ya`ll have a good day. Karen

Emma, if you get as many GB seeds as I did we'll both be in trouble. I only grew ONE plant and I'm buried in seeds!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Becky - fabulous pictures! The butterfly ones are definitely contest-worthy!

Thanks y'all!

I raise and release butterflies and those two Cloudless Sulphur butterflies were my only 2 releases today. The Skipper butterflies also love my MG blooms, but they are so fast I can never get a good shot. The DG photo contest is over for submissions I believe.

Ronnie - You got it! If I get seeds for the Jishi, I will certainly share some with you! :-)

Karen - Love both the new cultivars you posted! Very, very lovely blooms! I am quickly becoming a fan of the kikyo MGs!

(Judith) Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Becky, I'm impressed! How do you raise butterflies?

wow very nice blooms all :))

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Judith - Lurk over at the Butterfly and Hummingbird forum and read all about it! :-) I've been doing it for 3 years and have raised and released probably close to a thousand butterflies in that time. Lots of fun! I have a horrible wasps infestation in my area and very few caterpillars make it. Only one egg from a butterfly in 100 make it to the adult butterfly stage. :-( I have a LOT more butterflies in my yard now! Thanks for asking!

Thanks y'all! :-) :-) :-)
