Here is a group photo of my plants, the newest is a Warneckii which I picked up at Wal-Mart today for $2. I know they need repotted, but sadly I haven't been able to locate any pots this late in the season locally.
Here I am again, but no question for this...
Those are some realy healthy looking plants. Your local Wallmart has employees that know their stuff.
Yes, I usually pass at Wal Mart despite the nice price. Where I live the plants usually look VERY beaten up.
Hehe, when I was pregnant with my son, I was at a Florida Wal Mart and found a dumb cane that was broken off at soil level and just looked like it had been kicked around. I couldn't afford the plant but went to the cashier crying (oh hormones!) about someone needing to save the poor plant. They made me take it home. LOL.
Poor baby, They made you take it home, Awww, LOL
Every now and then Walmart has some good plants. But the prices are so great you just have to look. Its like looking thru a junk store... You might find a gem in the rough.
now a quick question..... where do you find your pots and potting soil this time of the year? I have a Pothos that has roots coming out of the top and the bottom of its pot, (another WalMart plant) that I would like to get repotted
I don't know if Home Depot and Lowes stock things like that all year round in your zone, but I think they'd be more likely to do that than places like Walmart and Target. So if you haven't already checked there, it's probably worth looking.
Do u know the name of the plant on the far left? It looks nice. They all look nice........
the one with the very varigated leaves is the Warneckii I just purchased... it is now two plants in two pots as I am going to give one to my daughter later on.
......can I be your other daughter when it's time????? :)
LOL..... of course... now if you REALLY REALLY want a Warneckii... I can probably pick another one up and get it to you.... DMail me and we will work something out.
