That's what I was thinking, but I'm used to seeing them on the finch feeder! :) Thanks much!

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

Hey Pelle, nice gold finchies. Don't you love how they just sort of "fall over" on that perch? I'm so glad you suggested it. I have fun watching them and am getting my Mom one for Christmas.

Mr Coopers Hawk decided to pay a visit today. He even gave one of the squirrels

a scare by half heartedly swooping down towards him. :-)

Didn't exactly expect to see an Emu, but good shot lol. I went looking for birds today and all I saw at the park was a Blue Jay and a few Mallards. Where were all the birds??? They all must have flown to Ca for the day.

Marlton, NJ

LOL, that Emu was a surprise. Nice pics adel.

Mrs Ed, good one of the wild turkey!

Marlton, NJ

adel, I think that might be another Song Sparrow.

Klamath River, CA

pelle that was my first thought but it also looks like a Lincoln's Sparrow

Tiller, OR(Zone 8a)

Stellers and Scrub Jays are in great numbers here. The only time we don't see them is when it's 100+ in the summer.

One of my Stellers.
