Scattelogical ramblings and desultory humor - Epilogue

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

All right.
I won't use 'geek speak' any further. I agree that it can get confusing.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No Candyce - please continue. I was just joking. It does save typing time.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Yes, Candyce, Victor is just BV!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Being Victor, I assume? I hope you were not inspired to use that term based on Manny!!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

not exactly what I was going for...

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Buckwheat Victor?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Bald Victor?

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

watch those 4 letter words - doesn't preview catch that one?

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

which one? bald?

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

yes

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Before Victor, as in how we mark time. I think I was born 10 BV. But Candyce, is DDH for dearly departed? If so, so sorry.
Dave

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

DDH could stand for dear daughter's husband.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

deer daughter's hooves?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Daughter's dentist's husband?

belleville, NJ(Zone 6a)

or, if you don't like him:
daughter's "darned" husband

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

And if he is hyper, it would be my ADHDDDH.

belleville, NJ(Zone 6a)

that made me LOL.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

this space for rent

That screwed up the thread, Al!! The normal stuff at the top, like Skip to New is missing. I'm telling!

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Wow - I have powers!
What to you give me to fix it?

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I thought it was just my computer

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes, please do fix it Al - it's bugging me out!!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

I can answer for Candyce that in her case, DDH is Dearly Departed Husband.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I figured that, Louise. I too am sorry, Candyce.

I was wondering if Al had great big eyes and great big ears and great big teeth. Seriously, Al, I think you can edit the returns out -- please? x, C

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Soooooooooooooo....did everyone have a fun day ?
Off topic here...they've been playing Christmas music on the radio all week here, ALREADY!!! and it's not even Thanksgiving yet...

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Yes, we heard Christmas music on Prairie Home Companion tonight. TOO soon!

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Still playing Thanksgiving music here.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Still playing The Mean Kitty Song hee. I like it soooo much I'm thinking about getting a cell phone just so I can put it on as the ring tone!

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

There's nothing quite like traditional Thanksgiving Music, right?

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

No way! Nu age - they replaced the turkey with tofu.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

That's right...I forgot. They put the tofu in a mold shaped like a turkey and then stuff it with SPAM.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

and instead of watching football, everyone has meaningful conversations about their relationships

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

It's allChristmasallthetime here, now - at least on some stations. Remember when there was almost a month, some years, between Halloween and Thanksgiving, and at least 4 weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Now Halloween is the beginning of the Christmas season - does that mean the after-Christmas sales will start by Dec.16th? The New Year's countdown will start 12/28? Back-to-school shopping in March?

x, Carrie

"Our" tradition is to go for a movie after we stuff ourselves.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I think I'll dye some Easter Eggs tomorrow...

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Don't you get all sleepy after eating turkey?

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Starting to sound like Lucy now " I still haven't finsihed eating all my Halloween candy yet"

I'm getting ready for Christmas(2008) myself
