If it's salts from fertilizer, you can 'flush' the plant by watering with clean water several times, letting the water come out the drainage holes.

do the color of the leaves change yello naturally from green to yellow
or is that water damage
I don't grow this one, but I know with other palms older leaves will die and fall off eventually, so it could be that. If you can post a picture, someone here can probably tell you whether it's natural or whether it's overwatering which is another common cause of yellowing leaves. I'd check the soil with your finger--if it's feeling really wet then you've probably been watering it too much.
