Well, no damaged toes with this one, though! :-)
Correct. Note to Christi: Need to check with Carol about her toe. My knee is still healing after 4 weeks.
Ooops, got my knees and toes confused! Knees and elbows are difficult. Hope it's better soon.
You got it right. We though Carol had broken her toe. Turns out it was twisted backward and really bruised. Almost worse than a break.
I sprained a toe once and they told me that it was worse than a break as there was nothing they could do for it. Since it was a middle toe, I could hardly walk at all for some time. And that's when I was a LOT younger! Things seem to take longer to heal these days. lol
"Ain't that the truth"
I can't get the durn thing to play!!!
That was amazing :)
Shari, do you have Java scripts blocked?
No...just unbelievably slow dial up!!! AAArgh! I'm downloading it to the desktop to watch in a bit...got 40 more minutes to go!!!!
Amazing cephalopods! You have got to admire those animals; and tasty too.
Sylvain.
Did you guys hear about the blue whales found off the coast of Chile? They were thought extinct til they found them here recently over there.

I've had too many Decko Geckos...that's an Island Shari drink
Heeeey!!! Why for you blamin me, mon! Twitchy finger symptom of too much brain drain...need some islan time!
Shoot! Went to bed too early again and missed the party. whaaaa
Would you guys give me a heads up when you plan to have a party?
I missed it too - out to dinner with some friends in their new house, which by the way is beautiful - right at the edge of the ocean, and we watched the sun go down and saw the green flash. Maybe some of you saw the green flash too with all those cyber Mai Tai's?
Green flash..now that's a new one for me..I've watch the sun go down in Kauai(when it was out)
So cool Jenny! I have seen it twice....not recently. I have a friend who has seen it 4 times, but my dear JB has never seen it! Since clouds gravitate to islands, we very rarely have a clear horizon at sunset, but when we have had an especially cloudless day you should see the crowds of people at the beach awaiting the possibility...then in move just enough clouds to squelch the plan. It's a very, very cool experience to see it though...lucky you!
Sorry no invitations were sent...totally impromptu!
Okay Bartender....add "Greenflash" to the drink menue
We often have a cloudless horizon, check it out with binoculars, seems to help a great deal.
I got to camp in Kauai Kekaha side on the beach a couple years ago. Cloudless, beautiful and such a starry night, words couldn't even come close to describing that night with friends on the beach, waves crashing
Hmmm, lets see...a bit of coconut rum, ginger ale, and a dash of midori for the green. Serve in a small brandy snifter and rub 151 around the rim and light for the "flash"...
Your camp out sounds heavenly!
LOL.....green flash..hmmm I may try that recipe.
The campout was so much fun I'm still glowing 2 years later. We took some air out of the tires for better traction on the sand and went to the end of the beach where there is a small camp ground, then a bit further down is mountains. We brought a cooler with steak, had wine..we sang, laughed and cried...all joyful
Hi,everyone. All this talk of green flashes made me run a Google search. I found a picture of a green flash that occured in Maui, along with more pictures of the island around Lahaina and Kihei. I have said this before and I'll say it again: I have just got to go back there no matter what.
Green flashes are a rare occurence and I saw two of them at sea on 2 different cruises but I didn't capture them on my digital camera. Oh well, maybe next time.
It's 10PM and I am studying hard for yet another real estate exam tomorrow afternoon. It's going to be a late night for this polar bear tonight. I only swung by here to see how everyone is doing.
Take care, all,.
Sylvain, AKA Pu'ole.
But Sylvain..
where is the picture link?
Aloha Pu'ole, will be thinking of you tomorrow for your exam - good luck!
