Okay, two more questions, and then that's all.... ;)
Doubles Anyone? Show us your pics of multiple butterflies.
That is funny...LOL!
Perhaps you are smarter than than you think, pford. Don't you only have one question?
VERY cute!
I finally got a double worth posting and had to dig for the thread! lol!
This was a Queen (male) that has been hanging out for a couple days waiting on a female. The Monarch was newly emerged and I had set HIM on a Mist Flower to take a picture and the Queen zoomed in and started trying to court him! Finally the Monarch flashed his spots and the Queen backed off.
PERFECT!!!
I had an aster and it died because of the drought here. BooHoo. Now I need More, More More.....
I saw 2 monarchs yesterday on my butterfly bush, but no camera. Of course they were gone when I got back outside.
Beautiful pictures everyone.
Nanny, you almost had a whole bunch of questions for us on that one....... ;)
Nice pic!
Great pics everyone!
Thanks for sharing.
LOL!
That's so funny how they are lined up in the same direction.
Posted in wrong spot. Sorry : )

And a truly georgeous pair it is Lily!!! What is the salvia they are on?
That is pretty!!
Love that, need to get one of those!!!
I finally got a pair too!
I usually don't have more than one butterfly visiting at a time. I know, I'm pathetic. Today, three monarchs and two gulf frits at the same time! It's really hard to get those double photos even when you have doubles around! I have even more admiration for the photos above!
I really love those sulfers on the salvai -- beautiful!
Beautiful photo Elphaba!!! I agree, I had three and four in the garden today and tried and tried. Got some but haven't downloaded them yet. They won't be as good as your's above.
Thanks Sheila. I hope your photos turn out better than you expected! That photo surprised me b/c one is further away than the other one, but neither seems totally out of focus. I wonder how that happened?! Wonder if it will ever happen again! Good luck with your photos.
Wow! Good job! I wish I could grow those flowers. I know that everyone says they are easy, but I've never been able to keep one alive. Just beautiful -- all of it!
Wow...great pics Bev!!
