I have a meyer lemon tree in a large pot, can I espalier it on a north facing sheltered wall? I live in a cool climate part of Australia. Any tips on espaliering please?
Meyer lemon tree- can I espalier?
When you say you're from a cool climate part of Australia, does that mean you have cooler summers, or you have cold winters? Citrus trees in general aren't super hardy, so if you're in an area where you get a lot of cold temperatures in the winter, you may need to bring it in for the winter. They can take some frost, but too much frost or temps getting much below that are going to be bad for it.
