This single mum is awesome. Do not know the name, got from lowe's last fall.
1 yr. old BIG mum
WOW! I'm not a big Mum person myself, but I must say, you could change my mind with a shot like that one. Astounding how big it is!
Janet
I really like the color of them. Very pretty. Do they come back year after year???
They make beautiful accents in front of your house!
When I got the mums, I wasn't sure they would come back. I do hope they will come again next year. After the blooming ends, I will cut them to the ground.
Now that picture of your mums are just goreous!
Thank you cordeledawg.
After seeing your picture, I went to Home Depot (no Lowes here) and bought three red mums in hopes that next year they will look half as good as yours.
Cordeledawg, today I broke some limbs (they are so big and long) from the biggest mum and have it in water. If I can get it to root, I'll be glad to share.
Faye
I just fainted. Thank you!
Cordeledawg please wake upppppppppp...I promise if the mum will root for me, I will send you cuttings.
((((root, little stick, root))))) Yea! fingers crossed!
Cordeledawg, I'm wondering if maybe I could put cuttings in a ziploc bag with water and send to you?
Probably just wrap them in wet paper towels then cover with press and seal or saran wrap. How would you like brug cuttings and confederate rose cuttings in return?
With hard wood mums, would some leaves need to be on there too to get them to root in water?. I know with brugs and confederate rose canes no leaves are necessary. Just never rooted mums before so I'm just wondering.
Cordeledawg Thanks, I have a Conf. Rose and love it. I do not know what the other plant is, but if it blooms and will live here, I will love it.
where to send the cuttings?
I have accidently broken mums while working with them and take the broken stem, leaf and all and stick in dirt, water well and it rooted. i always leave some leaves on.
Hope to chat more tomorrow. Good nite for now...Faye
Faye, I'll d-mail you.
