I've lost the tag that told the name of this flower and if it's annual or perennial. I think I remember it being named a pinwheel and I'm sure it said full sun and drought resistant. I am very new to having plants and was wondering what I do to care for it now that it's starting to get cold. (I'm in zone 6.) Do I leave it outside or bring it in? Does it come back next year?
No ID. Wondering how to care for it in cold weather.
It's Scaevola amula, aka fan flower http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/246/
Although Plant Files lists it only being hardy to zone 10, I've found that it survives fine in zone 9 as well, but it has pretty much no chance of surviving winter outdoors in a pot in zone 6, so if you want to enjoy it again next year you'll have to bring it in for the winter.
Thank you very much.
