Bishop's Goutwweed (Aegopodium podagraria variegatum)

West Orange, NJ

Is this plant evergreen?
How much of a problem is rash or allergic reaction?

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

No it doesn't stay green all winter. Takes a while to brown up though. Don't know much about the allergy part. Not one I've seen on lists. Persistant spreader.

Allen Park, MI(Zone 6a)

This is a very invasive plant.

Blyth, ON(Zone 5b)

Invasive - absolutely! In my area it's also a flying insect magnet. Sorry, but I have no idea if it also has allergen (sp?) properties.

West Pottsgrove, PA(Zone 6b)

I've pulled it up by hand, not knowing it's related to some poisonous plants. No rash or anything like that, but the plants are probably there to stay.

Fenton, MI(Zone 5b)

I let a small piece ( about the size of a 1 gal. pot) stay in my garden and it spread over 50' in a big flower bed. It grew to 3-4' and had a big white flower!! It blocked out sunlight to all the perrenials
in its path. I lost 100s of lillys, and plants. It took me 5 years with consistant high volume
glysophate to eradicate my problem. The verigated variety is not as invasive. But for your sake Roundup now!!!!
