If the frost didn't get them then Patches might of had them for breakfast!
Show us your bloomers!!
The sky was amazing this morning, and the color lingered on extra long, it seemed. We designed our bedroom so that our bed faces a large baywindow, which faces the sun rise over the bay. Further over on that wall we put in an octagon window. We look through the octagon to frame/focus on a particular area. It's really such a pleasure. No way to capture those colors on canvas.
Sounds nice Daisey. Where are the photos?!
I know. I remain photographically challanged. I feel guilty at times because I don't get to share some incredible beauty/moments with all of you, who share so generously with everyone. That is why I don't post very often. I have pictures of the pair of Bald Eagles and Golden eagles, and many Ospreys, and even the Mienke Whale I rescued, but they are only Kodak disposable. I am getting stronger (ancient but stronger), and hope to regain enough energy to expand into the photography world, and when I do , I promise I'll share. :)
what a cute bunny!!! well, if he ate them it's because he has good taste!!! lol!!!! or he was amazeb by it's beauty!!!!
Don't feel bad Daisey. We've learned to love Jan's pics.
Not to mention my lousy pictures. Thought I'd show what is left in my garden. These are bad even for me.
Wow, dave! You obedient plant from Don is doing GREAT! Ours is doing well, too ... well, it was. I didn't get a chance to go outside and check on my babies today. Too busy in the house.
Now THAT'S something you could drive a Mac truck through. Right Victor?
Wow! My pictures are even worse than I thought. I've outdone myself.
thanks Candyce. It is nice to have plants with names of DG friends connected to them.
I know what you mean, Dave. About having plants from friends, that is. Anna and I think that the entire back hill just might turn into a Friendship Garden.
Great Idea!
Actually. It's not my idea. It's Louise's.
Can you an Anemone in a friendship garden??
I like the idea though.
Dave, better check your eyes or your auto-focus!!
Can't believe you have a monarda and ran over Memory - oh well.
Toad lily is done here also. Dahlia look good.
Great late season bloomers!
Kassia ~ great shots from your new camera.
Bebop2 ~ we're always digging new beds, aren't we?
Thanks Bebop2! I love that sedum... what kind is this red one?? I am starting some more in pots inside the house from the ones I have... I kept one all winter last year and it did really well...
Love that blue grass too...
Good for you that you are starting early with a new flower bed... I am just waiting for the leaves to fall and add some and let it cook for the winter... I mean let it freeze for the winter!!!
Beautiful colors in everyone's garden! I love that there is so much color this late in Oct.........I vote this weather happens every year!!!
Kassia, the sedum is Autumn Joy, the only one I have. I have divided it so that it is in 3 different beds. The reason the bed is ready is that I am going to put in a few geranium daffodils I divided this summer. I'll leave room for other transplants to move in early spring.
