Charlene, the people at the city greenhouse were cleaning up and didn't need a very nice potted little Sycamore tree, so I snatched it for you.

Here are the links to the Final Headcount Tread;

and the food thread;
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/774113/
Please read those two first posts, it is all there, the food you are bringing, the maps and all the needed information.
Please don't forget about the door prizes, we don't want to come out short.
A small item or a nice plant, a garden tool or a book, are all good, but nothing expensive.
I went by the park today and Dave's garden is scheduled for Sunday, on the reservation, so we are all official.

My aunt Carol is coming and she has some seeds to trade. They are:
Fairy Lillies
Esperansa
Organic Red Double Hollyhock
yellow meated watermelon
butternut squash
organic purple zinnias (large flowering)
hyacinth bean vine
red bell pepper
organic clemson spineless okra
She is looking for mulch if anyone has any.
I'd love some purple zinnia and yellow watermelon seeds.
what's a fairy lily? i am sure i want that. lol. and some zinnia seeds. what does aunt carol want? tell her to be sure and tell us as some of us might have it.
TARogers, thanks. Anything that I can bring you? It's not too late!
Y'all have a really good time, I wish I could be there too!!! Happy Planting
Deb
I have reached overload...most of my plant are marked but I am beginning to doubt myself and my ability to correctly mark them...and most of the roses that were unknown,,seem to be Camellia Rose
I will have nearly all of the plants I have promised. We have a cow down and have spent a lot of time with her the last few days feeding, watering, and medicating, and the well drillers finally showed up this morning and created a sandstorm in our yard. I discovered when I went to dig that a couple of no-fail plants appear to have failed: the apple mint may have finally won over the pink obedient plant. I will bring some extra plants not on my list to offer as replacements.
Fairy Lillies are in the amaryllis family if that helps. So I've got ya down mamajack. you too Blue_eyes.
I would love yellow watermelon too... what does she want in trade?
I can't get her to tell me what she wants. I can't get it through to her that it's a trade not a sale. LOL She has a new garden only a couple of years old so she would probably take anything you had I would think.
ok I'll put your name down for some watermelon seeds too Mitch.
May I please have some purple zinnia?
And
May I please have some fairy lily?
Thanks,
Charlene
I dug the last of the trees today.
The willow is rather large, so be prepared.
The yaupons are very hard to dig!! I got plenty of them with the help of my sweet DH.
Bluesmaven any left over yellow watermelon seeds?
Yeah Mibus2 you get the last of it.
Bananna just perennials
Bluesmaven, if she has hollyhock seeds, please put me down for those.
Can't you get her to think of ANYTHING she'd like? I'm running out of space in my car, but I can always squeeze in another plant or two.
Updates on my promises:
Carl, I had a little Persian Shield already rooted before you asked for one. It was doing great, and then suddenly keeled over for no apparent reason. I feel terrible--that's the only thing you were looking for! Tomorrow I will look and see if I can get a division. I'll also bring some unrooted cuttings so you can try your own hand.
Scabiosas: they're still scraggly, but are putting out tiny new leaves. I think they'll be okay.
Toad lilies: they're growing, and even blooming, but they look horrible! The wind and webworms got them. Very embarrassing! Still, they should be fine in the spring. Just keep them sprayed if you have webworms.
Monardas: I can't believe it, but I have enough monardas for everyone who asked. They are very small, but rooted and growing.
Blue skullcap: even tinier. It's not cold-hardy in our zone, so you'll want to over-winter it inside anyway.
So far, everything else is on track. ::crossing fingers::
bluesmaven..........what's her favorite flower?
and pbtx, my toads look awful too but this year i have seen them bloom for the first time and i am in love. lol. is it the sun or the heat that does that to the leaves?
Organic Red Double Hollyhock for me if any left.
I have no idea what her favorite is. Ok TARogers5 you got it.
I also have Yellow Conehead err Coneflower seeds if anyone wants any.
Coneflower! Please - and Yellow Conehead... What are you looking for.
yellow coneflower for me too.
does anyone have any trop. hibiscus seeds?
