I was walking along on a university campus after a class and could not help but take a spike from a gorgeous clump of miscanthus. Now I am wondering how in the world I will know what the seeds look like and how to start them in the spring. This clump seemed like a generic miscanthus, no variegation or noticeable colors. It was a sizeable clump at about 3-4ft wide by about 4 ft tall. Any suggestions, other than not taking what doesn't belong to me!!!?
