Funny when I looked at that photo and something looked so familiar that it took me a minute or so to figure out that your ID marker on the bottom right is my handwriting *-*

All of your Glories are so pretty this year Ronnie . . .

Yours are too Joseph -
Very Nice!

Emma, That one lives up to its name. It definitely is illustrious!!!

Revclaus, How funny! The first thought I got when viewing this one was it looks like a watercolor painting! Some of these morning glories are so beautiful it makes you feel like you are a better person for having the plant in your garden. This morning it had more doubling and indeed this looks like a watercolor painting in person. I have another picture of a more doubled flower to post later if it downloads ok.

i forgot to mention yesterday after being frustrated at the uploading and losing my posts .. re: Apricot Candy, it is a beauty too, very unique and it has a ton of buds for this weekend.

Joseph, very nice.. when you grow during the winter, do they bloom and make seeds? I've never really grown anything to maturity during winter, usually I start the seedlings then.

Ronnie, nice flowers... whoooo..Lilac Luster is a beauty..

Emma, I have alot trouble with the feathered/hige flowers and cannot tell them apart except by color, other than that, i"m lost.. red, pink, sunrise serenade, etc.. they all are starting to look alike to me.. well almost. I've got alot to learn visually. You do a great job of IDing these..

I was too tired and sinus problems/headache today, so I did not take photos, only hand pollinated some.. I'll look forward to you alls flowers today.

Thanks Antoinette . . .

I didn't take very many photos today either, but here is one that is ULTRA BEAUTIFUL.
It is the Jamie Lynn Hige that is blooming the Very Pale Blue and some of the Blooms are Super Full. I don't think I've seen any information on what kind of bloom this is called unless it is a Triple Bloom ???

Anyways, It is incredible.

Thanks, Patootie and Antoinette, and Emma, that Jamie Lynn Hige is to die for!

Antoinette, I have had MGs grow out, flower up and make seeds indoors. It is fun!

Joseph

Houston, TX

I`m at work and just heard that the city cut down the weeds where these were growing wild.
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3968887

I`ll go by there tomorrow morning and check it out.

Dee

Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks Joseph . . .

Dee, even if you can find some pieces of vines, get them and put in water for any ripening seed pods. Hope you luck out with them.

Wedding Bells is really special. Love the color.

Baton Rouge area, LA(Zone 8b)

Emma,

The dilute Joyce Cobb vine rooted very easily and is growing. I don`t have a bloom on it but will be able scarf seeds on one isolated vine this way. This is the picture of the part of the vine I cut out to root. I`ll show the picture later when the rooted vine blooms.

Wedding Bells is looking good! I really like that one. This is a more double variation of that watercolor looking blue kikyo flower. It has single, semi double and more double flowers like this one. Karen

Has anyone seen this one? I don`t remember if I put this same picture but this one is another hybrid grow out result. Karen
