Oh, THANK YOU Beth and Antoinette for the slow uploading info, and I thought it was 'me'.

Beth . . .
Yes, new cross no name yet.
This is the 2nd year I've grown this one and it did remain True. Blooms are even prettier than these two, but these were in front of me to post.

Nice Blooms Antoinette,
These are so vivid and bright.

Here is one of a few of APRICOT CANDY that I got a really good close up of.
Ignore the "sp." in the name. Ron has since told me that is not correct.

Emma that is a nice clear blue one there. Very pretty.

So, it`s slow today. I`ll try one.

Beth,I sent you seeds from this kind of shibori split leaf plant. Some are almost white like this one. I also see a subtle shading of color division along with a partiallly covered ray pattern and flecks of purple. Some of these have half purple and half white with flecks of purple scattered around. I`m working on improving the consistency of the seedlings. So far,I managed to get more of them to sprout with thr yellow/green split coloring of leaf. You may want to do some of your own selecting and growing if you like these.

Your Gypsy Bride is waking up ever since cool weather arrived. She is stirring once again and from the looks of the buds she is about to make up for lost time with quite a show of blooms I hope!

Well, I can`t edit and change the double post. I guess two flowers is better than one. I also have to say the Apricot Candy is very cool. I like it! K-05

It rained off and on most of the day. Here is a photo of my wet blooms first thing this morning. Love the rain drops all over the blooms! :-)

New to post here.

Emma the seed you gave me for the Apricot Candy are really showing out right now. It is a neat plant. Some of the MG at HOPE are making seeds. I will help you collect them as you can identify them. Not tomorrow as I have the Dr. check up and the mock evacuation is also going on there.

For the others on here. I go over to Emma's often and see the MG show. Photos do not do them justice.

Enjoy the chat and photos.

Emma - Here is my unknown feathered bloom. Is this possibly Sunrise Serenade?

You should see David's place.
AWESOME!

He is like me and likes anything [almost], and I am slowly getting him addicted to MGs.

Thanks for joining us David . . .

Jerry and I were at HOPE on Monday
[David's wife is the Director at HOPE where I have about 50 MGs growing]
and got a lot of seeds, but there are a LOT more to collect. I was going to come see you in the morning. You gonna be home? or another day?

Emma

Here is another photo I took today. It is hard for me to get a side view because it is at the back of my garden bed. But I shall try tomorrow if I see any blooms.

Hi! Emma's friend, David!!! Welcome to the MG forum and to DG! You'll love it here!! :-)

Becky,
If your photo is true to Color, it isn't SS.
Sunrise Serenade is a CROSS with Crimson Rambler
http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/126480/
http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/57563/

Which is a Crimson Pink Color [I guess would be the way to describe the bloom], BUT, the Rays are BRIGHT RED. I suppose that is where the name comes from???

Your Feathered MG looks to be a very pretty Bright Pink.
And, is a VERY NICE MG!

Oh my gosh, Ronnie .... your wrightii are gorgeous!!!

No, my mystery blooms are not red, but pink. A strong pink. And I have a regular flowering MG growing in with this tangled mess along my back fence that has blooms that look to be the same color. I was thinking it was Wine and Roses. But I don't honestly know. I will try to get more photos tomorrow if there are more blooms. It's spreading all over that fence, though not blooming prolifically so maybe it needs some Bloom Booster? I was thinking it was Sunrise Serenade. I don't remember who I got the seeds from or if a bird dropped some seeds. :-/

Sun Smile Blue is nice for a small container. The blue isn't a true blue, to my eyes but still nice.
