furry whtie catepillars..keep 'em, or give to the neighbors (kidding)

i found a gazillion furry, white catepillars on a brug.
can someone tell me if they are going to turn in to butterflies or moths? i tried looking up info, but using a search engine for "furry" gives you less than desireable results, lol

They turn into a moth, a yellow wooly bear moth.

Have any Catapala trees near by?

Might be Catapala horn worm..
