Yes, but I can't think of it right now, I will look it up this evening when I go home.
North Texas RoundUp - Trade page 3
i want to know too, josephine.
I have Variegated Cuban Oregano cuttings and Lilly of the valley bulbs
On the pan of water make sure you add H020 to keep it from going sour. I even added an air stone to it and it worked real well.
After all that I finally went to wick watering with perlilte media.
For those who have Power Point, I have made up three presentations.
Coleus Cuttings, Rose Cuttings and Aeration and Drainage
TA, can i get some of the oregano cuttings, please?
Sure Can.
I have tried the water but skeets always lay their eggs in there and well not good...
Will try again - maybe an airstone will help. .
Put a peice of a mosquito dunk in there. They work great.
Hey Frostweed I just saw your reply to me back when I asked for shade plants. You mentioned Frostweed and Turk's Cap I'd like some of both if you haven't promised them to anyone. Please forgive my oversight. I think I've been spending too much time out in the sun trying to get the backyard pond/garden together. I spend all day outside. Anyway I am getting more and more rabbit poop and I still have lots of Iris. Right now I have lots of dirt, our pond is going to be 6' wide at it's widest and 10' long and 4' deep at it's deepest. I don't know if I'll still have the dirt by trade day but the pond has only been dug out halfway. Hopefully we'll be finished by then. But if anyone wants dirt let me know.
bluesmaven,
I have turks cap, too if frostweed has promised hers to others....
and josephine last year i got 2 small baby frostweed's from you. i just stuck them in the ground last fall not knowing what they would do. they are huge this year and are blooming now. i love them.
Well since I ran out the door to get to the doc I didn't get to check the name before walleyworld ( glad to see I'm no the only one that calls it that) but what I got is called rootone.
then got 3 pots since I haven't put the hibiscus' or gardenia in actual pots yet and some compost and potting soil....what can I say I had to wait 45 min for the prescription to be filled lol
Bronc I'll have you know I thought of you today...hehehehe...since I couldn't' go to work I made choc chip cookies (male and female) and butterscotch oatmeal cookies and am waiting on the bread to raise to bake it.
Tar I would love to see the power point presentations you did
I will make some copies to CD's and bring them.
Make good trading material.
One is of AL's thread in container gardening. I got his permission to use it.
That's great Melvatoo, I'd love some.
how big of files are they?
too big to email?
okay blues..I will mark it down. I have a file just for that...
Ted please bring me a CD on the Coleus so I know what I am doing this winter! They root so easy, just can't keep them going in the shop over winter. What can I bring in trade for it?
O.K. Guys, the brand for the seaweed concentrate is Maxicrop, 6.95 for one pint.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bluesmaven two Turk's cap and two Frostweed for you coming up.
Josephine.
Josephine, where do you get Maxicrop for that price? Last time I bought it, it was $12.95!
At Redentas Garden you must have bought a larger bottle, maybe?
Stop teasing me Mibus!
Thanks for the info Frostweed! I'll keep my eyes peeled.
This whole swap thing has got me running around like a chicken with my head cut off! Last night, I was up 'til 12:00 tilling up my yard to enlarge my beds. I've been staying up later and getting up earlier, but I'm not tired. I still have so much to do! There's just not enough hours in the day!
lol - it will be ok... I remember my first swap and the plants I brought home, they are still among my most loved plants.
Mitch? What are you doing in here? Shouldn't you be in school?
well ya know what Bronc I just had a good idea since I don't have alot to swap and am not sure how rooting things is going to work for me I am thinking to bring some goodies along with me to use for swapping....cookies are nice to have around and not everyone has time to bake.
You guys are established in your gardens more then I am and have done rooting and such to get things going for your yards where I am just getting started here in Texas with everything so I can bring along homemade cookies to kinda equal things out.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, cookies!!!
:~)
I agree with Smockette! Mmmmmmmm....cookies!!!
I think that is a very good idea.
Ummm I plead the 5th...
Ummm Daves counts for Science right?
Weird Science!
At the Kinder level anything can be science... we just had a lesson about trees have branches so maybe I might look a few things up.
falling out of trees my my
they don't know how to get to a branch that is nice almost to the top and sit and read a book hahaha that is what my oldest used to do in the pine we had back in Illinois

and that was in town too
but then mine are all tom boys as far as my girls go
They sure do, and the word leaf among others... they had no idea about roots or that trees grow...

Mibus, I can picture your daughter up in that tree. What a wonderful memory to have of her :0)
Mitch, God bless you, you never know. You might be inspiring a future DG member. I love the fact our kids are close to nature here but, it's far from perfect. I was recently surprised to find that the schools here don't encourage or even touch on the subject of recycling.
Stephanie, I would like to get some of your Becky and rock rose please. Check my list to see what I have to trade.
Charlene
Stephanie, could I please have a Becky?
Stephanie, I'd like to have a start of your shasta daisy 'Becky' too if you have enough. Please check my list to see what I can bring for you!
Thanks, Patricia
Stephanie I would like a Becky also.
Okie dokie! Have you all down! These things (Shastas) multiply like rabbits, btw, so make sure you have a nice space for them!
