This plant was given to us the other day, we need help in identifying it and what the care for it would be.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Need help Identifying this plant
How beautiful that cane Begonia is................i can't identify the exact name............but if you posted on the begonia forum...........there are so many people who would know the exact name given to her.........................lucky you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought everyone in Florida could grow these even in the ground outside year around?????? but i don't know your zone...............you may not be in zone 10
Thank you for your quick response, its a pretty plant and we want to make sure we take good care of it. The other good news is that we are in zone 10 so we may be able to relocate it in a good are outside.
Thanks again for the help it is appreciated.

She looks good right where she is, but I have DG friends in florida who say they can put them in the ground.....................better ask someone other than me (LOL)
My angel wings don't have any spots on the leaves........................I am not contradicting you, hobbyordlaren, but I will show you what we call dragon or angel wings.........in a few minutes..............I think this one has a distinguished name...............they do need dappled shade...................
this was taken in the spring (too lazy to go outside and take pic)..............they come in pink or red.............they don't have strong canes like the cane begonia does.............we just throw them away in the winter as we can find them in any nursery in the spring for 50 cents each...............
gessiegail I´ve seen this one to, without spots, but I´ve never heard they´ve been called angelwings here in Sweden, but mix up with name is mor usual than unusual , certainly :o)
here are some of my Begonias, I dont have them all left longer, lack of room.
please enjoy ~Sylvia
