Bigcityal yes, she's not overly active on here either. We talked for a while. I actually took some pics across the street from a subscriber in Appleton today, I didn't see him out - otherwise I would have gone over. How did I know it was his house if I've never met him? he dmailed me with ?'s about the area and a photo of it and there are only 3 houses on that streeet.LOL
Scattelogical ramblings and desultory humor - Part 12
And your powers of deductive reasoning...
.... simply amazing!!
He was funny, he moved back here after living in NY for quite a while, he asked if he needed a car because he didn't have one there. i said yes - you pretty much gotta have one.
We're back to the Menasha subway deal again!
I didn't take a picture of this plaque today - I wasn't impressed. It said something about the first 'successful' streetcar operation.
We'll get to work on that'Little Dig' project for you.
You probably could dig a subway tunnel in Menasha using your garden tools!!
Hey, I gave my Schwan's delivery man a quick tour of my garden today and got a very nice compliment. he said he thought it probably lowered his blood pressure at least a couple of points :0)
That's always nice to hear! One delivery guy said I have a Botanical Garden. Another infrequent FedEx guy says he loves coming to my house in the warm weather - reminds him of Disney!
No tip though Victor?
Gave him a seed.
Great - fill his bag with cosmos, nicotiana and amaranthus seeds, cut a small hole in it and on his way.
Who needs GPS?
Al, Did you write: "check it G" ??
Menasha must be very cutting edge!
He's down with the homeys.
Is that like Martha Stewart?
...but it's funnier when no one acknowledges when I say stuff like that, know what I mean Daddy - O?
Catch you on the rebound , blood.
Now I know what they mean by a generation gap.
Remember Beaver's Mom in Airplane?
Yes - that was hilarious. And don't call me surely!
I think Al is Beaver's mother.
I'm down wit da slang - gotta keep it on the real.
I'm laughing soooooo much! Thanks, guys!
Al also wears the baggy pants that hang (with the slang?) over his boxers.
ooooooh, thats wedgy material! I have to contain myself when I see kids wearing them like that...especially the girls as it's just one string. Snnnnnnaaaaaaaap!! LOL
I think that whole look is gross, though I'm sure I would have welcomed anything like that on girls when I was a teen!!
DS wore his pants like that for a bit....a few wedgies and he was pulling those puppies up when Dad & I were around! His pants still sag...he has Mom's butt so he wears a belt to keep them up.
Too funny!
Then whose butt do you have??
Again ... too funny!!
We have sunk to the level of backside humor? Say it isn't so!
Victor - what kind of engineering you do? One of these guys?
this goes along with that too.

Electrical. Cool plaques! I am a member of the third group listed on the top plaque - the IEEE.
I do but it has nothing to do with the IEEE!! My primary responsibility at work was making sure our vintage electrical generators kept working! We generated up to about 12 million Watts of DC power for our tests and used more AC power than any other single site in NYC. When I started one of our huge motor - generators, the voltage on the nearby subway would dip about 7%.
