Spontaneity is even more fun when it's spelled correctly! Hee hee.
Let's be the one!
Long experience has taught me that non-spellers are often the nicest people in the world - well spellers are often very intolerant of those who cannot spell. Hurray for creative spelling!
Long experience has taught me that you must be a non-speller! Hee hee. I'm sure Al's not offended and I've never been accused of being intolerant.
Hey - I even looked that one up and they must have all been spelled wrong - that's what I get for trusting the internet.
I doubt anyone is offended by correct spelling. I have a friend who spells the word "want" as "wan't" and often have to read the sentence more than once to understand if she means want or won't.
Pirl the floopy
Well I would kid about it with Al and a few others anyway. Al likes to do it himself! And yes, sometimes spelling errors become great new words.
Did you mean Al likes to tease about his own spelling or misspelling?
No, I meant he has joked with others about their spelling boo-boos.
Not me!
Maybe once or twice.
speaking of spelling which it's is its?
The former latter.
like that helps : )
I need more help than that!!

It's = it is
Its = 'Its color was a deep, dark red'
thanks - so simple, but I never remember.....
Think nothing of it. I usually have to stop and think really hard before I send off a'document, and check all those 'its' and 'it's'
Just remember it's is a contraction, so it's a shortened form of two words.
In formal academic writing, you are not supposed to use contractions (so eminent foreign scholars can look up all the words in your brilliant paper). I find I have to explain what contractions are to the students. What do they teach in English classes?
Well, they teach contractions, that's for sure! They teach possesives and all that.
Pirl, I read that you're not supposed to take vitamins or medication pills with coffee. Something about the coffee cancelling out the benefit of the pill.
I think that would be me that they enjoy picking on (for Al, at least since Dena disappeared).. I notice their psychological flaws but I'm too polite to point them out.
Harper - can I have them with chocolate?
I must be having a difficult night. I'm not following what people are saying tonight. I have to read and re-read posts.
Whaddya mean, Dave? Oh, wait. People pick on your spelling errors. You notice their psychological flaws because you're a shrink, but you're a nice guy, and you probably don't want to take your work into DG.
pirl, ABSOLUTELY!
Thank you, Doctor Harper!
Awww, I was hoping you wouldn't be upset. I don't like telling people what they should and shouldn't do, but I didn't want your vitamin taking efforts to go to waste!
They've been working fine for a very long time. Just ask Victor about my energy level.
Oh, yeah! You garden from dawn to midnight. Wish I had that energy!
Take your vitamins with coffee and chocolate.
Pirl takes coffee vitamins! That's her secret. Amazing, since I found out on another forum that Pirl is 90.
See what coffee and vitamins can do!!!
I never heard of the coffee and pills thing. Gonna have to check it out. I do it every morning.
Victor - was that in the Beauty and Fashion tips forum?
I think it was on Lindsay Lohan's website.
Grapefruit juice is a problem with some medications. But it is not a problem with coffee-flavored chocolate!
My thought was to take the vitamins with chocolate and use the coffee as a chaser.
You guys are certifiably (sp?) nuts!!
But I love you.
Nuts go great with chocolate! Thanks for the idea.
Chock full o' nuts - that's Pirl's coffee brand
Ha!
Maxwell House.
Hey!
That's OUR NEG brand ~ dontcha think?
'Chock Full o' Nuts', I mean
