My first triple seedling

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Found this triple flower today on one of my crosses and I'm hopeful it will continue to develope color. A good peach would be nice.

That is absolutely stunning, Tussee! What cross is it? You know, it would be very pretty if it kept that marbled appearance. Very nice shape. Congrats!

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

She is beautiful

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

Wow! It's beautiful Tussee! Congratulations! Paydirt! Yeah!!!

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Many thanks everyone. This is a cross of Creamsickle x Mountain Magic and only time will tell if it wants to color up more. I have 3 more buds on the way so they will tell me a lot when they open. I agree, indiana_Lily, that the marbled effect would be so niffty, but I doubt I'm that fortunate. I will send more photos as the bloom (s) develope.

Here's todays picture of my triple brug. seedling. Gardening friend Steve declares it to be a light to medium orange; I'm not impartial enough to call the color. :) When the other blooms open, regardless of color, I so hope they are triples and show their skirts well.

Elva, I posted a response to you on another forum...guess I'm a bit affected by medication for serious problems with my legs. Just real pleased to see you posting and I hope you are well and enjoying your flowers.

DARN here I was thinking I would slip over there in the night, instead I MUST ASK if you ever have seeds or cuttings PLEASE remember I didn't make the trip to steal, but will wait for a nice email telling me you will GIVE me what I want *VBS*

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

She wouldn't tell me where she lives. :) I think maybe it is a made up name and made up picture. Yes, that is it.

Tyler, TX(Zone 8a)

That is just beautiful and it gives me hope that one of my crosses will make it to that point.

Joan

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I must not be a great brug. mom. I have never gotten seeds. :(

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

3 full skirts and a marbled orange...I'm in Love!

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

That one is different. Hope for you that it become a winner. Babie it until you can give it a haircut. Then you are in tall cotton.

Tyler, TX(Zone 8a)

Makshi, you have to cross pollinate the bloom. It is not hard and Kell sure knows how to do it.

Good luck, Joan

Hooks, TX

I just love the color. It makes me think of the orange creamsickles that I bought in the school cafeteria long ago. Also, I think of the orange sherbet that I love to eat from the container today.

You have a beautiful winner there.
May you register it, make lots of money selling cuttings, and some day I will buy one of them!!!!!

Louise

Sumner, WA(Zone 8a)

I am in love to.........

The bloom as of this morning. This is the plant I will be watching closely all winter to see if there is a color change. Along with my Snowbank and sang., it will go in the new solarium. The solarium is 26' x 19', but it is already looking too small. I am getting no sympathy from SH so I need to look into the brugs. that work in hanging pots. He fears there will be little room for him to sit and relax and I'm continually telling him there are other rooms in this house where he can do that. I remind him daily the solarium is for our plants to sit and relax. Lol Meanwhile, thanks to kell and a few other enablers, I have been ordering all sorts of tropical plants. This is one wonderful dream come true for me and I thank Him daily.

Bloom #2 opened this morning. It is a triple, as is the third bloom that is just starting to open. Like our friend, ZZ, I had to check it out to be sure it was. :)

Amanda and Karen, if this brug. proves worthy of trialing, I will remember the two of you. I'll put this in my special folder so I will not forget who I told this to.
