I am getting ready to put some perrenials in the garden next to the front door around the pre-existing bushes. This side of the house faces NW and never gets consistant direct sunlight. We are renting and only here for a short time, so I don't want to put a lot of time or effort into this garden - it needs to be able to pretty much take care of itself once established. I have looked in gardening books but am so overwhelmed I don't know where to start. I also don't have a good gauge on the weather since it rained all summer, but that is really not normal for here and I don't know what is. I could really use some help. Thanks!
