I have a few picures that need id

Can and how do i collect the seed from them,,,,,

Okay 1st picture ,,,purplish petals with large dome like center

plant came from my MIL, but i saw my neighbor down the street has a huge untamed bunch of them ,,that she sais i could cut as many dead heads as i wanted.......

so my question,,, what is it,,, when do you plant it, do you prune it down and mulch over the top for winter?

Yes! It's a purple coneflower. Full sun, average water, mulch helps
with water retention. Considered a perennial, can be cut back in
late fall, mulch over winter, remove mulch after frost. Let flower heads
dry on plant if wanted, some birds love the seeds. Can be scattered
on ground same year for more plants. Cones can be prickly, but
break apart rather easily, all the spikes are seeds. Tea from
dried roots is said to be good immune booster.
