My first brugmansia pink has emerged. It has a stem, I assume a root, but
it's leaves are stuck in the seed pod, suspended about an inch above the soil.
What, if anything, should I do? Will the new leaves open up the now
dried seed on their own?
Help! My first Brugmansia is Stuck!
If you can get the seedpod off without damaging the leaves then you could try removing it, I've never grown brugs from seed but that happens occasionally with other things I've grown and usually it's pretty easy to remove the seed
And I thank you! I have seen other seed behave this way, I just haven't
germinated a brug to date, and didn't know if this was a bad sign. I found
it moist with morning dew, and teased it off. Whew!! Thank you again,
Ecrane3. Much abliged.
