Hmmmm, when is the next show in Orlando??????

No more favorites here, I just want them all.

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

ardesia, I am with you. It takes me forever to pick even 4 out of all of them. So I give up. I want them all. and at the same time. I just got out of bankruptsy It was really hard. Not going back there but we have a pawn shop on every corner :O) Who needs furniture. Hibiscus here I come.

I want a bumper sticker that says spending my kids inheritance on Hibiscus. Wouldn't be lying....ROTFLMBO

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

"I have this t.v., see? - I need to get more hibiscus - see?" lol I'm not even guess what I've spent on hibs, I need a greenhouse. I can't choose, either.

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

My son always said to tell the pawn shop you wanted a loan. They give a little more if it is a loan because you want it back. Sometimes, well the only time, it has paid to know that. ;O) ;O)

I have finally gotten around to take picture of my 5 new Hibiscus that I purchased from Martindales Nursery. I didn't have any buds on them and still don't but that doesn't mean I won't have. I still have them in the GH.

Those babies will have plenty of buds soon in that great GH, I am envious.

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

Believe me, you will have plenty of buds. some of mine are already blooming!

(Linda) Winfield, KS(Zone 6a)

My hubby has started calling my GH a cat house. We have 1 gray and white momma that always brings her litter into the GH. This is her second litter to do this with. The only problem is they are wilder than the march winds.

Here is a picture of two of her babies. You can just barley see her in the picture.

Awww! Cute as can be, Linda! Look at that face! Here's a snap of my newest baby - "ugly brown" Cherry Cola from Mark, taken a couple weeks ago... I sat it outside with the adults for it's first bloom pic! It's the baby one left side.... Maybe as cute as your kitties...lol

Here's the bloom, and I want to confess: The browns ARE growing on me... a nice dull tone to accentuate the beautiful colors on the bloom! I love it.

It's a beauty. All your plants looks great. Mine are starting to get a lot of yellow leaves, with the weather changing like it has been. Cool then warm. Windy then still. They don't know what is going on with them.

I think Cherry Cola is on my want list for next year.

The wind caught it (I left it unsupervised for a couple hours) and it blew over, and received a bit of bloom damage... I potted it up a size later in the day.... The bloom was rather small, can someone tell me if that is normal for 1st blooms or is it the size it is? I don't mind, either way, I just love the colors... one more pic for size and I'll put the brag album away, but I'm so proud of the little darlin'. lol (not the greated shot but needed something to compare size to, and my hands aren't really big.)

So..... are you limiting yourself? I'd send you a cutting, but it's just too little. Oh, Byron Metts, is that the white one? pure white? And will really make our other beauties colors pop, and vice versa?

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

Ha ha AuntB - I know what you mean! The browns are growing on me, too!! Have you seen Barry's Yoda?! WOW!!!!!!!!!!! (Even better in person, hee hee!!)

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

Stop it. :)

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

Hee hee heeee .... ;)

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

Glad to see you guys have come over to the brown side, lol!!!

Pugs, your plants (and adorable kitties) look great :-) Aunt B, what a lovely area of hibiscus you have!!

My want list for 2007: ALL!

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

I agree Karen, I agree! :)

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

Thank You Caren, but I need a bigger deck, now. Really, I kept moving my patio table and they just kind of taken over... then I have these babies to add next year..... and there's my Spring MUST have list.....

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

Ha ha - AuntB - you sound like me!!

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

I was thinking the same thing, lol! My plants have already taken over the "sitting area" next to the pond, and I don't know where to go next in my little yard :-)

When spring rolls around, I'm obviously going to have to move ;-)

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

I need a truck load of nice black dirt to play in next spring. I've lived here so long what used to be FULL all day sun for the pool is now shade. The pool is gone, made a nice sitting area w/sun/part sun & some tropicals... But I want to expand out into the sun and make some raised perennial beds, a Japanese garden section and the hibs in pots will be nice to accentuate with and a small-ish pond... THEN, the greenhouse (in a couple years, I HOPE).

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

Oooooh - sounds nice!

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

Yea, I'm dreamin'. (It could happen) - IF I win the lottery.... (won't be like the mansion you're saving up to buy! lol)

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

The kitties are adorable, and just think, they will protect your babies from varments....maybe, LOL.
My Cherry Cola is the same size flower. It is a mini. I love mixing up the mini's with the maxi's.
Cherry Cola, June's Joy and Hurricane bloomed for me today, but with 2 puppies, I was quite busy.
Then, realized the 12" pots and smaller were dry from no rain in 2 days, so spent almost 2 hours watering everything!
Hopefully, tomorrow I will have some great ones. Right now I am maximum pooped, lol

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

Thanks, Cat. Cherry Cola is really an adorable bloom. It is getting ready to open another one... they buds are cute, too! I bet the puppies are pooped, as well! Relax, put your feet up.......

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

H aha AuntB - you crack me up.

Could we start a Martindale's part B thread?
My finger is getting tired...I've got digit lock big time...

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

I just placed my first order with them. I have never in my life been so impressed with the plants for the money spent. They were awesome. I will not go anywhere else on line to buy my hibiscus again LOL that's the truth.

I just posted on the hibiscus forum, about them grafting their plants. Hope someone can answer my questions.

Ditto. I received an order last week. I have flowers already, and the plants are growing like weeds.
I highly recommend them!!!

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

And, wait till you see what's coming!

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

oh don't do that, i'm gonna go broke for sure. LOL
