I have three jacks and one by one they have all died back to the groud. This is my first time with them and I'm wondering if this is normal or did their roots over heat or did something possibly kill them? The first one died back a month and a half ago the other two more recently. I live in zone 5 or 6. The leaves turned brown and the stalk became soft and it just kinda wilted to the ground.
Jack In The Pulpit question.
This is normal, as they go dormant in the summer heat. They should poke through the ground in early spring again. Jacks are a cool plant.
That's great news, thanks : )
