Show of Pride for the NE Forum

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

lol!!

oh we are good... we are so good we need more than one T-shirt!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

One for each day? Each thread? Each member?

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

I think there are several interesting ideas - may I suggest Gang Green for our group? Or is it too silly?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

That's been taken - by the NY Jets and on one of the gardening tv shows.

We Are
Dirty and Sexy
and Colorful

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I try to be all three at the same time.

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

Victor!!!!

Upstate, NY(Zone 5a)

Schickenlady - I remember the love sick moose!! Count me in on the tee shirt!!

Kennebunk, ME(Zone 5a)

Just throwing my 2 cents in Eleanor but for the spring flower instead of the crocus I would LOVE to see a pink Lady Slipper. Only because they are native to the NE and endangered :) Whatcha think?

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Sorry guys - I ghost write for a cat - how sexy can I be? But dirty and colorful work for me. (looking shyly hopeful) I like the idea of using native plants on the shirts!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Preferably native to the entire NE however.

Upper Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5a)

Kim - I didn't intend for my pics to be used. I'm not that good a photographer. I was just playing around with a possible format and used samples from my photos. I think Lady Slippers would be great. I don't know who or how the decision is to be made. I like the idea of 4 seasons cause that is what gardening is all about in the NE. In spring the garden comes alive, in summer it grows and flourishes, in autumn seeds are produced and scattered and the gardens are prepared for the coming season, and in winter the garden sleeps and the gardener dreams. Whatever gets chosen I will like. There were some good ideas on the talkative thread. Eleanor

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

All I can say I am with Kim....LADY SLIPPER...lets get serious
to what we actually want, something we can take pride in

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

it's part of or charm not to be so serious!!!!!! we are a WILD bunch!!!!!l LOL!!!!!!!!

Kennebunk, ME(Zone 5a)

I'm sure whatever everyone decides will be perfect :)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Assuming a decision is ever made! We still have not heard from a number of 'regulars'.

Kennebunk, ME(Zone 5a)

This just popped into the tiny space in my head *lol*:

If your looking for me..........I'm hanging with my buds (picture of flower buds inserted here) on the NE Forum at Dave's.....www.davesgarden.com

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

That is a very nice sentiment. It might need to be made a little irreverent for our group. . . but I like the idea, alot. And I like the idea of four pictures for the four seasons - after all that is what the NE is famous for!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I agree about the seasons. However, a Fall picture alone captures the same thing. I like the idea (forgot whose!) of the hanging Fall leaves.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Then what about something like "You can find me hanging around in the NE Forum on Dave's Garden."

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

We don't need to mention DG in our part since the DG logo will already appear on the upper right of the shirt. Also, I think some wording that says it's the BEST place to hang is better for showing our pride.

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

I agree witn Victor... we need to show pride... well good pride I mean!!!!

I like the idea of the leaves too...

New England Forum : the one of a kind!

Marlborough, MA(Zone 5b)

New England Forum .... Its Second Nature

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

NE Forum means North East, not everyone is from New England

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Some of us aren't even from the "north east"! LOL

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Some, I suspect, are not even from this planet.

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Whatever the group selects is okay by me :-)

Quoting:
victorgardener Some, I suspect, are not even from this planet.
You got it - I use StarGate SG1.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

In that vein (pun intended) ~ Ne Forum and beyond!

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

oops.... sorry.... in my heart is all the same.... I know it's geographicalllllllly so I apolojize.... you are all my people!!!!

I got people!!!!! don't mess with my people!!!!

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

to boldly go where no one has gone before!!!! star trek! NG my favorite....

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

My goodness I don't check in for a few hours and you have all these great ideas. We are just too smart, so how to decide?

Love Star Trek and SG1 too! Beam me up Scotty!

Why don't we elect 3 or 5 members of the NE forum to take the t-shirt issue on. 3 or 5 as an odd number when they vote. I have not been here long so I am off the voting board.

I nominate. Pirl, Victorgardner, Seandor, Dave47 and Kassia.

I am going on my memory. These names seem to have a sense of humor but very witty.

What does eveyone else think?

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

well thanks... I am not so sure I can compete with the others... but I do like to laugh!

Upper Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5a)

I think it is the only way to "get the job done"!! (I sound like Bob the Builder - LOL) We need to put a group in charge or no one is going to make a decision. That group looks good to me. Maybe they could come up with several ideas and put thm up for a vote in the NE forum. Eleanor

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Works for me too. :)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks for the vote of confidence but I think we still need to hear from more people who haven't said anything so far - even if they're interested in the shirts at all! I believe Dave is in that group. We don't know how many shirts we'll be getting so we don't know the cost for each. I'd say we've heard from less than half of the 'regulars' from the Forum.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Sounds good!

I threw in names in an equation that I THOUGHT of. That does not make the names right. Senority Rules.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

In my mind, senility rules. Appreciate your help schick!
