Show of Pride for the NE Forum

I first brought this up yesterday on Kassia's 'Talkative Bunch' thread.

The idea is to take advantage of Zazzle's 'Customize' option, which already has the DG logo on the upper right. We need to say something about the NE Forum and probably want to include an additional graphic - plant, flower, etc. Please read the posts that follow my posts on that thread as some ideas have been offered. Let me know what you think about the idea in general - would you be interested? Then, let's discuss how to proceed. Let's try to keep it simple and straightforward. If we can't agree on a graphic, for example, we can always borrow one of the standard DG ones used on the other Tees.

Celeste had a cute idea for the text - referring to us as the Wild Bunch. I was thinking of something along the line of 'the best place to hang at DG' and possibly having a monkey hanging.

Let's see what we can come up with.

I am interested. And I vote for 'The Wild Bunch'. But, I am very easily swayed by popular opinion ~ LOL

how about

NE Forum - the hanging place of the Wild Bunch!

and the monkey can hang in a wild flower???

Or 'The NE Forum, where the Wild Bunch hangs!'

As for plants or flowers, what single gardening / nature image pops into your head when you think of the Northeast that sets us apart from the rest of the country? To me it's the Fall colors of the trees.

I think its a great idea too. I like Victors suggestion, The NE Forum, where the wild bunch hangs, or Proud to belong to the NE forum, where the wild bunch hangs. For the pic one branch of a tree with one red, one orange and one yellow leaf hanging down. Forest green T. Whatever the majority likes, I'm in. :)

Sounds like a great idea. "If you can't find me in the garden, I'm hanging out in the NE Forum at Dave's Garden!" A possibility for a graphic would be a collage of four photos depicting the four seasons in the NE. Just brainstorming some ideas. Eleanor

For the four season idea could set up something like this. There are some great photographers in the NE forum and many photos to choose from. (Just using mine as examples) Eleanor

A moose? We all have them and they are wild.

For that matter White Tail Deer, but then Victor would chase us with Deer scram!

Like 20 years ago, a moose was in someone cow pasture in Vermont. It was all over the news. I went to see them and got a sweatshirt. I think it said " The Moose Is Loose ". Dang I just realized I am getting OLD.

Following the theme of the silly thread, how about we wear plain old white t-shirts and imagine whatever we want on them? Makes things easy.
