Any ideas on how to overwinter Sweet Potato Vine? I have two varieties, I wondered if I could just bring the planter inside? or maybe I should try to propagate some starts with root hormone?
I live in zone 5, they usually die off rather quickly here.
Any suggestions?
Saving Sweet Potato Vine
I think people dig up the tubers and store them for the winter. I've never grown them so I don't know the specifics, but it's probably similar to how you'd store bulbs.
Hi Flowerprincess! My turn to help you! I have overwintered sweet potato vine in the house. You just dig the tuber and keep it in a big pot. Mine did just fine in a sunny window.
Good luck! Kwanjin
Awesome thank you!
