Definitely some sort of Persicaria/Polygonum

Looks a bit like Polygonum orientale/Pericaria orientalis which some people grow on purpose, but there are also weedy ones that probably look similar.

If you're into making your own arrangements, those dry real well and add a nice touch of pink to your dried arrangement. I collect them out in the fields at deer camp just for that purpose.
