Amaryllis belladonna "Naked Lady"

Clay Center, KS

I have some naked lady flowers (Amaryllis belladonna) that bloomed. The flowers have gone but on the stems are some small bulbs or seed pods. Does anyybody know, Can these be planted to produce more naked lady plants? If so, how and when should they be planted. I live in north central Kansas (not sure what "zone" that is!)
Any help or advice anyone has would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Do you mean that seed pods formed on the flowers?

My day lilies do that, but my amaryllis never have.

Ayrshire Scotland, United Kingdom

The only plants that do produce offsets (new little baby bulbs) on the outside of flowers or in the leaf Axel's are from the lily family, Over hear we call naked ladies
Colchicums (Autumn Crocuses) Liliaceae, but that is due to the flowers being on show before the foliage as like your Amaryllis, but the later is a separate plant from the lily family as far as I know, could you send a picture so someone can identify better.
If your plants turn out to be from the lily family, then yes you can remove the little bulb-lets from the flower heads/leaves and plant them in a pot till about 2 years, then place them out in the garden if you have suitable conditions, wish I could help you more, maybe someone else will come in and be a bit clearer than me, good luck, Weenel.
