Ghostbuster Eggplants

New City, NY

Hi Everyone!
This is my first garden with my 8 year old daughter. My Ghostbuster eggplants are about 3 feet high , very lust green foilage and plenty of purple flowers. It has been about 80 days since we planted them. The flowers bloom but there is no fruit after the flower. What do I do to get the plants to fruit? Thank you for all your help!

Are the blooms falling off, ovary and all. eggplant like tomatoes take a day or so to show blooming. They are self pollinating, so nothing you do on that score except maybe gently shake the plant to dislodge the pollen. Should not be a problem in NYC, but excess heat ( above 95 degrees F) will inhibit pollination. White eggplant is a little more tricky than the purple types.

Thank you Farmerdill for your advise. I just checked my plants and it seems the flowers are falling off. I will try the polluting trick. By the way I am not in NYC, alot of people assume that. There is really a town in upstate NY in the Hudson Valley Region in Rockland County called New City.
