What is your hardiness zone, tarabraun? That's a caladium. You'll find a bulb in that pot. They aren't hardy in my zone, so I have to bring them inside during the winter after all the foliage has died off. I'm guessing you'll have to do the same thing. See if someone from your state or zone posts about it.

Hardiness zones refer to how cold your winters get. There is a map of Tennessee and its hardiness zones here.
