The lucky #7, that is a number which means many things.

We are said to completely renew our bodies in a 7 year cycle.

We are supposed to have 7 year cycles of fortune or misfortune.

If you are asked to think of a number between 1 and 10, odds are you will think of 7.

Let's hope the next 7 bring good fortune to all, and the 7 after that, and after that.....

I have been a Subscriber for less than 2 years, and recently the site has become more friendly than ever. Not that it wasn't friendly but there were unfriendly elements which we must thank the DG team for keeping a close eye on and their success in sorting it out. I am amazed that I now never come across any aggravation, the team work on here is second to none!

I've been here almost 6 1/2 of the 7 years. I can't believe how this site has grown.

I've made a ton of new friends.

Congrats Dave, Trish, Terry and the rest of the crew.

Happy Birthday DG!! Congratulations Dave, Trish, Terry and the whole gang. DG rocks my world. I only wish I had been here for all seven years. It's because of this particular website that I haven't thrown in the towel on gardening all together. My gardening skills have grown in leaps and bounds. It's all because I'm so interested! Thank you so much!!!!!!!

Dave and crew Happy Anniversary. This site and it's members have truly expanded my horizons. It's not only the gardening advice, it's the opportunity to share in projects, watch amazing events - owls and eglets from eggs to fledgling, witnessing the generosity and compassion of dg members when another has hit a "bump in the road", and to laugh out loud at the sharp comedic responses. I've only been a member for about a year. I look forward to many more years.

Happy Anniversary, Dave's Garden. I'm glad I've been able to share five of those years!

The Woodlands, TX(Zone 9a)

Happy Anniversary, DG! I'm grateful for Dave's vision, even if he didn't dream this big at the very beginning - he recognized the need and filled it! And continues to make it better and better. I am still in awe that we can access the Great One, and he responds! Name one other place.... I am also in awe of the great amount of knowledge the membership has, and the willingness to share - and not just in the area of gardening. It's a great place to come to! And hard to get away from....

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I joined last August but it took me until January of this year to find my way around..................my adult children would like to wish you lots of success in the coming years............(this is terrible.......but funny).................they say they are so happy for me that I can tell them all about user's names on DG and what they said or did rather than which prisoner said what in his letter or what i said to him......................I do love DG and it has been a life changing experience for so many of us..........

(PS......I am still writing prison letters but don't talk about it anymore as I am so engrossed in DG and growing.........) Thanks for your ingenuity in changing the site for better all the time and for putting up with us............................
Happy Anniversary !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gosh, I didn't realize it had been that long. I signed up under another name "farminggrandmaofky" on 4/21/01....you weren't even a year old. Now I'm feeling old. I've been MistyMeadows since June 2003, thanks to the Shoeflower....(Horseshoe)....

Happy Birthday DG and many more.......

Saylorsburg, PA(Zone 6a)

Congratulations on your anniversary! This is my second year as a member and I must thank you for this site. Hardly a day goes by without my checking in here on various forums and threads. I learn a lot from fellow DG'ers and my garden is filled with wonderful plants from the many new reliable mail order places I have found through The Garden Watchdog as well as the Co-ops which I used for the first time this summer. Keep up the great work! We are all very grateful for this site! Jessica

Better late than never....Happy Anniversary to Dave, Terry and all the team!!!!

I was late renewing this year because I was unemployed and short on cash, and I thought I was gonna die before I could get back on here to all of the Closed Members only forums...This is undoubtedly the finest Gardening site on the entire web...If you can't find it here, you don't need it...

"We are now up to 121 members, and the member list is getting way out of hand. This afternoon I setup a member list on a seperate page, and soon we will move the member list to this page altogether.

For the next few days, it will exist on every page (as it does now) but mid-week I will be completely removing it. You can see the new memberlist page by clicking "Members" in the upper-right hand box on this page."

Talk about the 'ole' days!

You got that right!

How many were here when Dave started the "subscription" thing...I know I had just joined about Sept. 15, 2001....then he started the charge in Oct. Money well spent!! Jo
