that's a wonderful project! we started a garden for our daughter a few years ago, just a puny little thing, and she loves every minute of it, from planting to weeding to harvesting (although watering is her favorite, what 4 year old doesn't love to play with a garden hose?)

i'm jealous of your strawberries growing, ours has barely grown at all, not nearly big enough to bear fruit yet!

These have been rescued, they were in the ground doing beautiful and then something starting eating the little strawberries. So, WE decided to moved them into a polystyrone box and keep them on the back porch and bring them in at night and put them out in the morning. I just really enjoy the look on her face, priceless!!!!!!!!

Hey Everyone,

Can you help with my questions.
Why are my strawberries growing deformed?

My guess (and that's ALL it is) is a pollination problem. Incomplete pollination can cause deformed fruit, but I'm sure there are also other causes.
