We took down our decorations too. No fun. I can only imagine having to box up all your little houses. (Guys, she has the ultimate Halloween decorations)!

It's still Halloween here....maybe I could throw some artificial snow around the little houses this year and pretend the ghosts and witches are Santa's elves. Worked in the yard cuting things back, while DH hooked up the rainwater tank pump. Flower show is over and I'm sleeping in tomorrow....

Halloween is just a 'bubble-wrapped' memory now....ahhhh....stuffed in the attic...
It's starting to get really windy here, and I'm going out to move big pots up onto the patio. Supposed to turn cold tonight...then jump back up into the 80s by the weekend. Crazy weather...... Anyone going to College Station this weekend?

Shoot....wish I could be there...would be fun to see ya'll again. Going to have to wait till spring, tho. We have to be somewhere every weekend this month. And our sweet baby petri dish grandson has given us both colds. DH is at the doctor's now...he's running a fever and coughing like a wolf! I'm not as sick,...so I just sound like a coyote. I don't think anyone would want us to share this with them.

Bubbles, your decorations are wonderful. Reminds me of my original Martha Stewart mother who left our Christmas Tree up year-round and changed the decorations with the seasons: Christmas, Saints Football Season (miniature footballs and fleurs de lis, Easter (pink and blue chicks and bunnies), 4th of July (flags & stars), Flowers for summer, Thanksgiving (turkeys) and back again! People stopped by with their children...

Oh...you guys are making me jealous! I would just love to join you all at the RU and meet so many of these great people. I wanna go! I've committed myself to the opening of a new park here on Saturday and doing a booth. Friday evening I'm doing a benefit dinner for one of my bestest buddies with cancer. I'm booked to the max this weekend.

Bubbles....I've got a care package going out to you, hopefully, next Monday. I'm planning on doing some preserving on Sunday and hoping the persimmons will be ripe by then. (Bubbles and Bruce let us pick away at the tree!) Got the almond verbena for ya, some pickles, some meyer lemon and vanilla bean marmalade, LOTS of seeds, some fig preserves and just some other fun stuff! I've shown R your picture and what did she say? You look like my sister???? How funny is that?

Gym Girl, Smockette...I have been so caught up in other things lately that I haven't been on DG much. I miss you guys and want to see you really bad! Porta potty.....Bubbles really got me on that one but it's coming back at her...as soon as I find something to get her back on. I have nothing juicy yet but time is on my side.

Bubbles took me to a multitude of great nurseries but there was one that was the bestest. I'm a HUGE butterfly observer and was so surprised to see that the 'plant of choice' were mist flowers....blue and white.

Oh...Kristi...I think you got me baaackkkk......I opened the thread this morning and saw this huge fat woman sitting on a butterfly that's screaming, ''Get your fat &%$# off me! You're squashing my wings!" We're even for sure now. If I was debating getting a personal trainer before...this sealed the deal. Could that possibly have been taken with a wiiiiidddee angle lens? No? Geez - you guys don't sleep? I'm tired just thinking about 1:30 and 1:40!! The date is on my calendar!! Smockette - if Sandy and I can leave realllllyyy early from the Woodlands - we'll meet you for breakfast. She's an hour away from her house and then another 1 1/2 hrs to College Station. Don't wait for us - but I'll ask her how early she wants to leave her house.
