Group D-mail

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

If you are part of a group D-mail, it seems that once you make a reply, it doesn't show up again until someone else in the group makes a reply. Is there a way it can stay in your d-mail inbox like regular d-mails or perhaps a separate group inbox so you can access it & add more than one post a time?

Sebastopol, CA(Zone 9a)

I'd like to know the answer to this question too.

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Yeah, 59 views and no answer. Well, I guess we need admin. answers so maybe everyone else viewing will need that answer too.

Add me to the list, I lost a group yesterday and have not been able to find them!!

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I honestly don't know - I think this is an issue for our "tech support".

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Where to for tech support, do you have the addy?? TIA!!

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

LOL

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

This would be the right place to reach Dave (otherwise known as "tech support" among his many other duties ;o)

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Ahhh, so hat changing (or apron changing) is in order. Hope he sees this soon.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

I regret others having the same problem - I thought I had stepped off into the twilight zone, until I was directed to this thread. Maybe help is on the way!

The group dmail is fraught with issues, unfortunately. Due to way Dmail is architected, it was very difficult for me to get it working at all. It's still in the experimentation phase and, honestly, I think I'm going to drop support for it and remove it as an option...

ok by me

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Aw, rats, I liked it... oh well..

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

It was cool in a way but people could be added to the group later and then read the past messages, that means you'd have to be careful what you wrote, just in case, not that you shouldn't always be kind anyways! ;-)

Had to change the should to shouldn't, see how easy things can get misconstrued?!

Well, If you didn't want someone to be able to read past messages you just created a different group with them in that new group. But the folks I had in my group are my friends and we didn't talk about anyone, except maybe you. :) LOL *Just kidding*

Sue, I really was kidding. :)

Glad you all like the fireplace!! I really didn't have the heart to throw it out, it holds a lot of good memories from my childhood.

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Oh my! I love the fireplace. I'm so amazed at the talent that people have on this site. I get so many wonderful ideas!

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

I can see why, it's a great old stove. :)

You know, you don't have to wait for someone to add you to their friends list. You can start your own. That's what I did. I snagged in some folks that I met a the last Iowa RU or folks that I converse with on here and just told them they were now in my friends list. :) LOL

Hey, and most of them even liked it! :)

GG3, I was gonna start a "GG3 and me" group but I think it's gone. I think now you go thru folders and I didn't spend the time to figure it out.

fireplace: awesome

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

voss, there is a way it could be done but it's so complicated that it would take lotz of time and then it might not work...so..........
