I wish I had grabbed the camera - this one made me chuckle...

I don't even remember what state we were in, somewhere between here and Texas. I saw a full size buffalo, fiberglass, I presume, in the back of a pickup truck. It just barely fit with the tailgate closed. Looked quite silly!! lol

Hey.....that Buffalo may have been on it's way to the High School I graduated from. Our mascot is the Buffalo (located in Buffalo County), and there is a big fiberglass buffalo on the roof of the school's entrance. Go Buffaloes!

Perhaps this picture will be the strangest thing you've seen today. Our floss silk tree blew over a couple weeks ago and here are a couple logs from it.

Kelli....are those thorns I see on there? Forgive my ignorance, but I have never seen a floss silk tree.

Those bumps are thorns and they are sharp.

Those pieces must be a pain in the patootie to move once you cut it all up! And here I think thistle is a pain to deal with!

DH moved them. He probably rolled them but I don't know.

I don't usually visit this forum, but I saw something weird in the morning paper today. Here's what happens when the headline for one article is put under the photo from another article. That must have been one heck of a toast!

This didn't happen today but was so funny - I was at work looking out the all-glass front and a pick-up passed by with a live horse in the front seat with it's head hanging out the window like a dog! Now you don't see that every day. I yelled for the girl working with me to look. No one else believed us! They wanted to know what we were drinking on the job! Then about a week later I got a forwarded email from someone that had taken a pic of this horse with their camera phone sitting at a light! I finally had proof!

Chicochi3, that is great! You should send that page into Jay Leno. He has information on his website about how to do that.

How funny about the horse - must have been a miniature horse. Check out this video of one riding in a car. LOL

Yes some one later told me they had heard about the horse riding around town in a pick-up and that it was a miniature horse and the passenger seat was removed. Now the city I live in may not be huge- over 200,000- and I may live in Texas but that is NOT an every day occurrance here!

I watched the YouTube one- Pretty funny!!! And eating chzburgers?! Who would've thought?

I found the email sent to me- this is the horse I saw but I had a better view because it crossed in front of me

Chichochi3..I had to show that to the DH..He is a reporter. He laughed then said.. yeah..point that out to an editor though and they get all offended

But, Jazzpunkin, those of us who are not editors know that that is just a mistake! Love to see what other people are seeing that is weird. You just can't look for things like that. They just have to happen!
