I just found this thing this morning on the underside of a brugmansia leaf. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Any clue what this could be?
Is that dirt from a mud dauber wasp? I can't tell what consistency it is to say if it is dirt or not.

Windy, I think you're right. Someone on the brug forum suggested a mud dauber yesterday, and after a bit of googling, I think it may be a potter dauber.
