Hi Emma - The very light bloom that you posted above here
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/EmmaGrace_1186207776_364.jpg
looks really interesting...the subtle coloration changes are quite aesthetic...

Is the very light bloom from a plant that is mostly producing the more usual darker coloration or do you have a plant that is producing more of the unique lighter colored ones...(?)

Ron,

This plant is producing mostly light tones. The darker purple above is the first I've seen it with colors that dark.

Here is another

Emma - I like it...alot...glad to hear that you've got at least one plant producing the lighter tones...

Hopefully it will be a good seed producer...

Ron

Awesome picture show, Emma!

Ron, Here is today pic. I went out just before 7:00am and they were already open.

Same bloom at 9:00am already starting to close gone by 9:30 the blooms in the deepest shade didn't last longer then another hour started to collapse at 10:00 and gone by 10:30. Some of the blooms are a little paler but nothing looks blue-ish to me. I'll be glad to collect what seeds I can for you. Don't think I will grow them again next year very pretty but the bloom-time is too short for me.

Emma - Your Rainbow bloom is very pretty! I like all of them. (That's one of the advantages of being a MG newbie ..... every bloom is like Christmas morning!)

Holly - Pretty little thing, even if it is too shy to shine for more than a couple hours! :-)

Pam - Lovely!
