I have had 3 of these vines for about 6 to 8 months. All were doing well until last week when I noticed a build up of a white sticky substance at the bottom of one plant. Today, I noticed that it is turning yellow and some of the vine looks wilted. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Can you post a picture of the sticky stuff and also of some of the yellow leaves? I suspect there are probably two different problems going on, some insect or something causing the sticky stuff and too much or too little water causing the wilting and yellowing. It's possible both problems are related but not necessarily.
ecrane3 I am unable to place a picture on the web since we cleaned off the substance when it first appeared. So far my other two plants have not shown any symptoms. I water them every day in the morning. The yellowing started at the bottom and has spread up the vine. I have used a fungicide and am hoping that will help. Thanks.
I think you're probably watering them too much, and if that's the case then the fungicide won't do anything for you. I don't know what sort of soil you have but unless it's really sandy I doubt if they need to be watered every day. If you had just planted them then maybe they would need that much, but since you've had them in the ground for 6-8 months they should be established well enough that they don't need water every day. Less frequent, deep watering is best for plants. No idea if there's any connection between this and the sticky stuff you were seeing, but I would definitely investigate your watering. The easiest thing to do is right before you're about to water, stick your finger down in the soil an inch or two and see if the soil still feels wet--if it's still feeling wet then don't water, but if it is feeling dry then it's OK to water. Keep doing this check for a while, then eventually you'll get a feel for how often you ought to be watering them.
ecrane3 I think you may be right about the watering. I did water quite a bit before this happened. Really appreciate your help. I will let you know if things start to look up in a couple of weeks.
