Hi Clare, I just stopped by to get a link to send you an email and saw you were having show and tell. I had to look of course, knowing how great your plumies are. And they did not disappoint. You have such pretty ones.
I hate to admit it but I am a plumie murderer. I so suck at these. Mine are just now leafing out at this late date. I just do no think it gets hot enough here. I had a lot of rot this summer to. They made it thru winter great but I guess I should not have watered them at all when they went so long without being leafed out. But I thought it would make them leaf out.
Anyway, your plumies are just so gorgeous!! THANK YOU for such a grand show.

Hi Kell and thanks! Don't be too hard on yourself. I doubt it was anything you did. This winter had record cold temps and dormancy in some of the plants exposed to the cold lasted extra long. Yours were in the hoop house and not a greenhouse; right? They could have just gotten too cold. Don't worry. I'll send you some replacements;-)
