Plumie Pictures of Mine

Jeffersonville, IN(Zone 6b)

Gorgeous!! Makes me kinda wish I had more room for Plumerias, but for now the brugs have "senority."

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Flower_Mtl, when you say your "babies," are you referred to seedlings? Seedlings take 3-5 years to flower on average in ideal conditions. You may get lucky and get an inflo at Year 2 or even sooner, but that is not the norm. I know someone that waited 22 years for a seedling to bloom if you can believe that! If you want flowers now, I would recommend contacting Florida Colors Nursery by phone and have them send you a grafted plant with an inflo. I believe that they ship worldwide.

Thanks, Felicia. I am slowing getting rid of most of my brugs as they grow so fast, take up so much room, and are high maintenance! LOL! I'll probably keep a couple though because I do love them too.

Yuma, AZ

Thanks Clare! Awesome Pictures!

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Thanks, Davie! I enjoyed your pics too!

Massena, NY

Thanks for keeping use inspired, Clare. So lovely. If I have success with my first ones I may want to try multi colored ones like Hurricane or Tahitian sunset. They are gorgeous!
All the best!

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Ahhhhh, Clare...someday...(dreaming with a bubble above my head with pictures of plumie blooms all alglow!)
Love those photos...can just imagine the scent that permeates from those beauties.

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Thanks Betty and Louise! Someday soon, you'll both have many blooms!

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Give me time Clare, remember, I'm up to 37, gaining on you fast.
I have an orange one getting ready to open, I've never seen an orange plumie. I'm excited.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

The orange one I was talking about is Paul Weissech...I looked at Clare's picture of it and it does have orange but it's more yellow...still never seen one this color. Will post here when it completely opens.

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

That's a nice one, Louise! Can't wait to see it! Congratulations! You'll have to get a 'Kimo' too. That is an awesome orangey one with a great fragrance.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

It's taking its sweet time opening up for me...the suspense is about to get me! It sure does have a wonderful fragrance. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to get it open.

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Here's my Paul Weissech that I've been waiting for 5 days now to open entirely but it still hasn't as of today. I guess a watched plumie never blooms!?!!??

It's beautiful, Louise! Congrats!

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

:-) I'll post it when it's fully opened. Thanks my friend.

Victoria, BC(Zone 8a)

Thanks Clare for your fantastic eye-candy!

What an incredible assortment you have! The Adenium is absolutely gorgeous! I've never seen anything like it! It's stunning.

It's funny because I've bought from Barry in Singapore and from Evelyn as well. Unfortunately, Evelyn doesn't ship to Canada anymore. I'm lucky that I got an old growth Hawaiian cutting from her, when I did. :-)

Keep posting those fabulous pictures. Even though my keyboard is covered in drool, I can just hose it down! ;-)

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

LOL, thanks, Teresa! How is it going with Florida Colors? Did you call them and reach them about your order? Barry has some nice ones, and Evelyn does too so I'm glad that you were able to receive shipments from them.

Victoria, BC(Zone 8a)

Clare, I've tried to phone, fax and call Florida Colors without any luck. It's odd that they emailed a confirmation of both my orders, yet nothing happened.

Must be a Canada thingie!?!

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Teresa, they are just two people running a huge business so keep trying and don't give up. I promise you that it will be worth the wait when your order arrives.

Fredericksburg, VA(Zone 7a)

Just got back from being out of town on vacation....

Beauties, as always Clare! Always love to look at your photos!

Thanks, Karen and Brittany! Here is a new one: Bali Whirl. It smells wonderful. The flowers can be unpredictable on this one, but they always smell great.

Those are beautiful, Clare. Thank you for sharing!

I know others prefer the more colorful ones, but I really like the yellow and white - they are my favorites. I currently only have one of any decent size that Dutchlady was so kind to give me. I purchased a red stick from e-bay that I am patiently waiting to root (found out that red is the hardest to root, not to my surprise as I always do things the hard way. ha ha)

You have a beautiful collection.

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

Wave Rage is awesome. Seems to have gigantic flowers. I'm so glad a have a dwarf Singapore pink, even if I won't see any bloom action for another year. Cutting is growing well. Salmon Pink is quite unique too.

Victoria, BC(Zone 8a)

That pinwheel is fabulous!

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Thanks so much Floridabunny, Nery, and Teresa!

Floridabunny, I really like the white/yellows too. I have a bunch of different whites and yellows, and I love them equally as much if not more than my others. The yellow/whites tend to have the best fragrances.

Nery, that picture of 'Wave Rage' may be making the blooms look bigger than they are. I don't think they are bigger than 3 inches across. It is known for its wavy petals. Here is my Dwarf Singapore Pink for you.

Teresa, 'Pinwheel Rainbow' is definitely an eye catcher with its bright pink color.

Here is another yellow/white that I love. It is a great bloomer and blooms every year reliably.

Here is 'Tahitian Sunset,' another reliable bloomer.

More yummy photos Clare!

Mine finally bloomed! The camera batteries died last night before I could upload the photos! 8-( I will post them this evening in a new thread!

Karen

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Can't wait to see them, Karen! Thanks!
