potted perennials over the winter

Thanks for your help so far. Another question about them. I'd like to be able to keep the smaller ones-herbs, lamium, small sedum in the house over the winter. Would that be okay?

As long as you keep them cool, they should be fine. I have overwintered potted herbs on a south-facing basement windowsill, where they got plenty of light, but little heat.
