I thought you might like to see what I did with some cut flowers from my garden.
If you would like to see more, come and have a look at our flower show on the cut flower and floral design forum.
Everyone is welcome to join in !
Do you make arrangements with your flowers?
Hi Terriculture, boy that looks stunning, wish I could come and join you all as I love these kinds of events, but with your weather/floods ect, will give it a miss this time, we are up in Scotland where we usually get all the water, so please pass on our best wishes to all these folks who are suffering like never before, it is really harrowing to watch it all on TV, we just heard that a couple who's little twins were born premature in among all the floods have lost the babies and my heart goes out to them and all the others, good luck with your show, folks need something to brighten up their days right now, old UK is sure taking a beating right now one way or another, but we get there in the end, Stiff uper lip and all that stuff if you believe it. Happy gardening. WeeNel.
Thankyou so much WeeNell.
Ta for the encouragement with the flower show as you say it's something to brighten up the day.
p.s. I love shortbread.!

Wow--pretty arrangement terriculture. I'm afraid I'm one of those who never learned the fine art of flower arrangement. I have little imagination--just stick a few flowers and pieces of fern in a vase and thinks it's beautiful (which any flowers are in my opinion). I've never been to the cut flower forum--looks like I will have to visit!
Thankyou NatureLover, We really want someone to make a simple vase of flowers and it sounds like
you have all the ingredients to do that!! please have a go. tell us something about you with your flowers!
If you plan to stop by the "Dave's Garden Electronic Floral Show" here's a direct link to the thread:

Or, just go over to the Cut Flower and Floral Design forum and stroll around for awhile until you find it.
Either way, as terri said, everybody is welcome!!!
I love that array of colors. Very nice, and looks great in that container!!
Thankyou BDale, do you grow sweet peas? They are definately one of my favourites for cut
flowers from the garden, the scent is just wonderful.
Hi Terriculture, do I ever envy you being able to grow that rose called blue moon, I tried several times to grow them as they were one of the flowers within my dear daughters bridal bouquet and I thought a flower bed to grow all the lily's and roses etc from the same flowers would be great, everything else went well, but the Blue Moon Roses were a disaster, they were covered in grey mold every year no mater what I did, then I got in touch with a rose growing company who said they are one of the roses that are very susceptible to this, so I gave up after 5 years struggle, so good for you, it looks just fantastic, Good luck, WeeNel.
Thanks WeeNell, it's way over 6ft now and looking good. Thanks for the warning about the mould, I will look out for any signs of that. So far so good!
