Oh I wish you would come to Norfolk....and I won't have time to go any where else but the Family reunion in Beckley, WV....spend a week with my sisters, trot on over to TN to visit DS....hit the KY RU....and fly home out of Nashville about Sept. 18th.

I'm trying to figure out if we should "do lunch" first...like meet about 11:00 to 11:30 in the Uptown Buffet parking lot...eat lunch....then go to The Gardens and do our plant trade and then tour the beautiful gardens.....How does that sound?

Will someone be giving the "set" times and what the line up will be?
I suggest we meet in the parking lot of the Uptown Buffet....I will be wearing my Dave's Garden T-Shirt so look for me....I'll be there about 11 AM....then we will wait for others until 11:30....at which time we will beat the lunch crowd and go in and eat.
After lunch we'll drive on down to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens where we will have our little plant trade (for those that brings some)....then tour the Gardens!!

When Sami and I lived in Fla we had a wee get together at her house....had a lot of fun...We go way back as friends....we both lived in Va. beach ...next door to each other....she is still like family to me. Jo
Ditto to that Roadrunner. We have been together as friends for a long time. I really miss you as a friend and neighbor. Never had a friend or neighbor like you. I miss the morning teas we had together. Havent been able to find a neighbor like you since. I wish I could look out my backdoor and see if your curtains were drawn to see if anyone was awake and ready for tea. LOL. Remember that was our signal to each other.

Yes I guess youre right I did like to sleep late when I could. Dont get to do that much anymore. I guess when you get older that is one of the thing that happens. Along with a lot of other things.

Edevenny, of New Port News...has said she is coming...and suggested we list what we will bring...if we have anything and know what it will be.
I will bring some gourd seeds....let me know what kind you might like as I have many different kinds.
I also have some Parry's Penstomen. very pretty wild flowers. They should do OK there.

In case anyone plans to trade live plants...I think you should bring a bucket to put them in to take home...maybe a jug of water too. Jo
