Weed or Plant???

I grew a heckofa lot of seeds this summer and I have these 2 plants that I am not sure are plants or weeds.
It has a redish stem and it has this dark pinkish tassell type thing on it looks like it has seeds on it.
Any ideas?
( Would hate to find out I have cared for and fertilized a weed) although it is kinda neat.

If you like it, it's a garden plant. If you don't, it's a weed... ;o) You are the only one who can decide.

I am growing several "weeds" because I like them. As it turns out they are mostly garden plants brought over to North America by the colonists which escaped to the wild and flourished.

Sorry I can't help with the id.

You might try giving a more detailed description (height, leaf type and arrangement, etc) in the Identification forum.

I dont think so unless it needs to mature . The tassel is somewhat pinker and the leaves are smaller and of a lighter green. And of course, the main stem is red.
Weed or not, I really do like it and is welcome to stay. I have a total of 4 of them.

I don't know Janice, but I would think that if you only have 4 of them, it would most likely be something you planted....stranger things have happened but if it was a weed, don't you think you might have some more around your yard or in the neighborhood?? Just a thought.
